KOREAN LANGUAGE INSTITUTE

  • The Regular Program is an educational curriculum designed for foreigners and overseas Koreans who are interested in the Korean language and culture and wish to learn Korean. This program is suitable for those planning to enter universities or graduate schools in Korea, seeking employment, or learning Korean for leisure activities.

  • Most students who wish to receive Korean language training at the Korean Language Institute apply for this program, with an average of 1,700 students from about 60 countries registering each semester.
  • The Regular Program is offered as a 10-week course per semester, totaling 200 hours per semester, and is operated across 4 semesters annually.
  • Classes are conducted in the morning and afternoon, and the curriculum is designed to match the levels of the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK). If starting from Level 1, it takes approximately 1 year and 6 months to complete all 6 levels up to Level 6.
  • The Morning (A) Course runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
  • The Afternoon (C) Course runs Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:50 PM.
