- Outstanding Academic Performance Scholarship
- This scholarship is awarded to students who have attended for more than one semester and have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and attendance. Final selected students will be notified individually regarding the awards ceremony. - Korean Descendants Scholarship
- Scholarships are awarded to Korean descendants with excellent academic performance and attendance by "(사)기부앤기분" (Donate and Share). - Lee Hee-geon Korea-Japan Exchange Scholarship
- Scholarships are awarded to Korean descendants/Japanese nationality students with outstanding academic performance by "(재)이희건한일교류재단" (Lee Hee-geon Korea-Japan Exchange Foundation).
Group Insurance
Yonsei University Korean Language Institute provides group insurance for foreign students (non-Korean nationals). Therefore, students can purchase their own traveler’s insurance if they have chronic illnesses. Students with a Language Study Visa (D-4-1) who stay in Korea for more than 6 months will automatically be enrolled in the National Health Insurance, and students are responsible for paying the National Health Insurance premiums personally.
